About Me

Since the age of 12, Violist Adam Warner has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player. Throughout his early years in Cleveland, Ohio, Adam explored many of his interests in the arts, athletics, and sciences. All within the same year, he became the president of his high school’s recycling club, held the position of assistant principal violist in the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, played in the Antioch Baptist Church bell choir, started his own quartet with friends (The CAAR Quartet) which performed for many organizations throughout Cleveland, worked as lead engineering intern for AECOM, and ran in the Annual Cleveland Rite-Aid Marathon.

During  his tenure at  Skidmore College, he studied privately  with violist Laura Manko-Sahin, along with violinist and Artist in Residence Michael Emery, and cellist Jameson Platte, who guided him through much of his chamber music career during his time at Skidmore. He held the position of principal violist in the Skidmore String Ensemble and the Skidmore Orchestra during his tenure. He has also had the opportunity to study with teachers such as Jeffery Irvine, Lynne Ramsey, Stanley Konopka, Lisa Boyko, Eliesha Nelson, Isabel Trautwein, Carolyn Gadiel Warner, and Annie Fullard. In the Spring of 2022, Adam graduated from Skidmore College with a degree of Bachelor of Arts with honor in Music.

After earning his music degree at Skidmore College, Adam has continued performing as a contracted musician, subbing in various orchestras and organizations throughout the capital region  of new york state. He has also continued his work training as an apprentice luthier and assistant under Thomas Dunn at Sixth Generation Strings.
